In the span of 3 years, Baltimore emcee has been on an impressive run and staying active musically from releasing such great projects from “Baby Jordan to last years “The Ghost of Reggie Lewis.” Known for his signature approach to albums with one producer enhancing the soundscapes, he’s connected back with longtime Norfolk, VA producer Logic Marselis to bring listeners the collaborative project entitled CONCORDS. Scattered throughout the whole project listeners will hear Neva quote that this album is a “self proclaimed” classic, being the concept of audio through sound is their take on the classic silhouette that had the sneaker community in a chokehold.

The two musicians wanted to give music that people can relate to, as well as the newer generation of hip hop can appreciate. Neva and Logic Marselis capture a balance of soulful chops, obscure loops accompanied with unorthodox rhyme patterns overtop of layered lyrics to standards of pushing the rewind factor. With verses supplied by King Jvmes, Iron Emperor, Illien Rosewell, J-Berd, Guy Grams and DJ Cuts from DJ Jon Doe, CONCORDS promises to bring exclusivity and that line wrapped around your mom & pops sneaker boutique feel.
